    	While reading the Sunday Washington Post, I noticed that the ComNet
    Networking and Communications Conference and Exposition is being held
    Feb. 2-4 in Wash. D.C. After reading that 450 companies would be 
    participating, and performing demos, I looked to see who was
    on the Vendor list. I looked from 3COM Corp to ZyXEL USA and did not
    see Digital Equipment Corporation mentioned. I saw "all of our
    competitors", both in systems and networks listed. 
    
    	There was a caption at the end of the add that mentioned the Vendor 
    list was "as of 1/15/93". Please tell me we are going to be there, and 
    the omission was an over-sight, typo, or we registered after January 15th.
    
    	Are we conceeding the network space? Was the cost of attendance too
    high? Is the exhibit typically over-hyped and attendance poor?

    i am sorry i cant tell you that, but i bet you a whole buck that DEC
    was invited to go the show too but the DECeee whom they send the letter 
    to was TFSO'ed and so the letter is probably setting now in some 
    ex-DECeee's drawer inside some folder in some empty cube as we talk
    in this very minute.

    just my hunch feelings my hunch feelings are always more correct
    to the dot than not .
