    Should we get our hopes up?  I'm expecting a notice any minute now
    stating...

    "Sorry, there will be no turkey distribution this year.  We apologize
    to those who have already received their turkey cards.  A formal letter
    will be mailed to those who have already lined up to pick up their
    turkeys."

    The turkey distribution this year for NIO will be on Friday, December
    4th  and will take place as usual as the Core C dock from 2:30 to 4:30
    PM.   Please plan to pick up your turkey at the times indicated.

    ALTERNATE ARRANGEMENTS *MUST* BE MADE FOR SOMEONE TO PICK UP YOUR
    TURKEY IF  YOU ARE UNABLE TO DO SO.  LEFTOVER TURKEYS WILL BE SENT BACK
    THAT DAY, AS  WE HAVE NO STORAGE CAPABILITIES TO HOLD ONTO LEFTOVER
    TURKEYS.  THERE WILL  BE NO EXCEPTIONS!

    You should be receiving your turkey card within the next couple of
    weeks  with your paycheck.  If you were on STD, LTD or LOA as of the
    beginning of  November you will receive your card in the mail at home. 
    If you were  transferring from another Digital plant, your card went to
    that site.

    If you would like to donate your turkey to charity, write "CHARITY"
    across  the front and back of the card and deposit it in the pink box
    in my office  (Core C, Pole L10 - Plant Administration).

    I wish we did the same with the other turkeys we have in VP-land. ;-)

    i think, and iam sure most DECeee's would agree with me on this,
    that this note discussion of the matter at hand should be consolidated 
    with the prior discussion on the same subject in the original DEC turkey
