    Any truth to the article in the Boston Globe (i.e. Digital is being
    awarded a $500M+ contract to postpone major lay-offs in the North East

No, but Slick Bill has offered a multi-billion dollar contract to Electric Boat to build submarines that the Defense department doesn't want in order to buy votes by avoiding layoffs. ...and to think that there are still morons out there who talk about using the peace dividend. By the way, people should think twice before spreading rumors, but they should really think four or five times before spreading rumors that could imply criminal activity.

	RE: .0 No truth whatsoever. Someone leaked the E-mail that contained this rumor to the press. A representative from Corp Relations denied the rumor and and was taking action to publicize this denial. Last I heard, they were trying to track down its source within the company.
