Gary is now General Manager for HP Workstations Division out of Chelsmford, MA. As you can see, this was not a case of "downsizing" but of getting an offer he could not refuse. I for one, and is a sentiment that most of our group (SME a.k.a. GSB), if not all of it, share, am sad to see Gary leave Digital. I don't think there are many senior managers in Digital with the intelligence, drive and charisma that Gary has. In two years he took the concept of targeting small/midsized companies to a reality, bringing into the company a new platform based on marketing needs (what a novel idea!), a new selling model, and a renew emphasis on indirect selling.
