1200.0. "Where are the DECworld bags?" by BRULE::CUTRI (Keith Cutri - DTN: 252-7092) Tue Sep 25 1990 09:49

Does anybody know what happened to our DECworld bags that they were
suppose to mail to us after DECworld training last Summer. Remember?
Collect 6 tokens and get a bag.... only they wouldn't give you the bag
unless you went to the dinner on the final night. I was told that
anyone leaving early could dump off their business card and they would
    mail the bags out.

Has anyone received one yet? I'm still waiting to hear that Jack
Smith raffled off the remaining bags to pay for the chocolate fudge
    cookies at DECworld :^)

I had completely forgotten about the bag that never showed up.

I am, however, pleased to hear that someone got a bag and expect that I
will get one in time as well.

The thing that I am not pleased about is the information requests
forms. Remember those forms that we asked customers to fill out if
they wanted additional information? I've made some inquires and been
told that someone will get to it sometime but that it may take a while
as the peole that look after this are also the DECville people. As
I'm sure that this is about the lowest priority on their plate right
now I won't be holding my breath. The most unfortunate thing is that
these things have been at the bottom of the priority list after past
DECworlds and my customer even questioned whether they should even
bother to fill the forms out. All because the lists of requested info
got to me 6 months after the fact for DECworld 88 and never came at all
    for DECworld 87.

So be glad if you get a bag. I'll probably give mine to the customer
and tell him to hold it for ransom in lieu of the information that will
not show up for a while, if ever!

Ian Harrop, (still waiting for the infamous lists!)
