1177.0. "Searching for Digital's sites" by RDGENG::GUNDRY (John Gundry) Fri Sep 07 1990 09:14
If this looks like a good idea - could someone tell me to whom it should
be addressed?
I am based in Reading UK, and travel to Digital locations in MA, CA, and
elsewhere in Europe. A lot of my time, I am making my first visit to a
Digital site, and I always need to go through a business of finding out
how to get there, by car or taxi.
Could Digital form a bank of directions for physically getting to its
sites? Directions from the nearest freeway, main road etc.
Perhaps prepared by the site manager's office, and distributed by VTX or
a Notes conference, this would allow people like me to print off the
directions and take them with me when I travel.
The directions would also be at hand for sending to external visitors to
our sites.
This might start for New England, then the rest of the US, and then
centres in Europe, then worldwide if the need looked worthwhile.
Any comments?
