| Employee Purchase Programs are administrated on a country by
country basis. The Digital EPP typically refers to the Greater
U.S.A. area only.
why? There are a number of taxation and legal reasons within each
country related to the selling of product to employees. Some
country managements, have approached this problem. others haven't.
Check with your local PSA to determine the status for your country
of residence....

| RE: .2 I'm not sure that 1-800 numbers are reachable from the UK.
IN fact, Canada and a few other close countries may be the only
ones that will reach US 800 numbers. And even then not all of them.
There is also an Employee Purchase Program Notes conference.

In the USA, 1-800 numbers are paid for by the person called. So they
are called "toll-free". Apparently that is the only public number for
the Employee Purchase Program. It would seem that a DTN would make
more sense since it's supposed to be only for employees.

Then, how do you expect the people in field who only see the office
once a month or quarter, and then usually after hours, to contact them?

1023.7 | 1-800 U.S. only (usually) | TROA01::MSCHNEIDER | | Sun Feb 11 1990 05:09 | 7 |
| For you people south of the border ..... very few 1-800 numbers
are available outside of the U.S. It costs extra to provide even
Canadian access to 1-800 and it seems for many companies that the
world stops at the U.S. border. Please don't forget that there
are offices (like mine) that don't have DTN.
