1019.0. "New meaning for the term 'RESTRICTED DISTRIBUTION'" by SMAUG::GARROD (An Englishman's mind works best when it is almost too late) Thu Feb 01 1990 22:29

I received a mail message containing the following. It certainly gives
a new meaning to the term RESTRICTED DISTRIBUTION. Interestingly it
was initially sent to the distribution list MEMPMC. One would have
thought that the top personnel people in the company would understand
    the term RESTRICTED DISTRIBUTION.

I have removed all content from the message so only peoplw who received
this message will recognise it. It was addressing a very sensitive
    matter.

Looks like an IMF directive. You can tell(paraphrse) this to your
team, but destroy the message after reading it. For Eyes Only!

It's a misuse of the label. The sender should be notified.
I do not believe "Restricted Distribution" information can
    be sent electronically.

translating my super 'dutch' security guide .....

It is NOT recommended to use electronic transmision unless transmission
and storage are specially protected by encryption or other ways.

If electronic transmission is absolutely necessary consider making
a print out on receipt and then totally destroy the electronic copy.
