    I read in thi evening's paper that DEC and the State have finally
    reached an agreement as to who will pay for what, regarding the
    roads and intersections around the new 400,000 sq. ft. facility
    on South St. in Shrewsbury.  This means that it will probably open
    for occupancy in a year or so.  Does anyone have any idea as to
    what groups are destined for this new building?  I have an ulterior
    motive for asking.  Hint: I live 5 miles from there...

	John, did you know that there's a conference on the SHR III 
building?  It's file LEDS::SYS$SYSDEVICE:[NOTES$LIBRARY]SHRIII.NOTE.
THE MODERATOR IS LEDS::OLDHAM, and access is not restricted.
	Our group, Low End Disk Systems, is one occupant-to-be.

       Well, for one thing, the TOPS (tape and optical products) group
    moved out of the Shrewsbury facility last October and now are located
    at the Nickerson Road complex in Marlboro. The buildings here are
    leased, and we have been told all along that our stay here is 
    temporary, until the new Shrewsbury building is finished. Most of
    us certainly expect to be going back to Shrewsbury. It makes it
    so much easier to make a Spag's run at lunch time.

    I am already in SHR1 right now and what I hear is the folks who moved
    out of SHR1 and SHR2 to the Nickerson Road facilities in Marlboro, will
    be occupying the major portion of the new building, SHR3.
    
    Who occupies the rest, well I don't know.......

    I laughed when I read this.  You must work for the NSA.  Hopefully you
    meant this to be a joke.  Top secrets?  This is DEC, not IBM.

    I think .4 is being sarcastic. Up until a week or so ago .4 is exactly
    the sort of idiotic, over cautious, response that our 'esteemed'
    moderators would put in this file.
