    TYPICALLY IN THE SWS, IT IS A BIG NET WORK.. IF YOU ARE PART OF THE
    NETWORK OF VPs and DMs THEN YOU  ARE IN AS A MANAGER.

	Topic 720 is also taking up this subject, and 720.1 gives a brief overview of the Management Development Program now used by most all Field organizations to put employees on the management "short-list". In SWS, there is no longer an MDC. You still have to interview the next couple of managers up the chain, however, to get a management job!

	... since I wasn't aware that the Southern Area is the only one testing the "new" Management Certification Program under Country aupices. Sorry about that!
