| Yes. Digital either owns or leases (I'm not sure which) several
jet and propeller fixed-wing aircraft that are used just for
passenger travel. They too fly between Hanscom and other places,
either on a regular schedule (e.g., to Kanata), or on demand (as
when K.O. needs to go somewhere in a hurry).
I'm sure you could learn more by calling the Bedford Flight
Operations Manager at Hanscom Field, DTN 249-4976.

| I've flown many times on Digital's Cessna Citation around
European locations. Apparently it's the plane with the
best safety record in it's class. For the record, it's
a twin engined jet that seats 8. 9 if you include the
toilet!!!

705.5 | Even the cargo planes carry (ied?) passengers | KOBAL::TALCOTT | | Thu Jan 26 1989 09:44 | 6 |
| Several years ago I made frequent trips to Puerto Rico in the "cargo
plane" that flies out of Hanscom. It has (had?) about 9 seats in the back;
eight for passengers and one for the steward who cooked your meals. No
inflight movies, of course, but it was a pretty nifty way to shuttle
between Tewksbury and PR.

705.6 | DEC charter, only way to fly! | BTO::GREENE_K | Waiting for REAL winter | Thu Jan 26 1989 10:17 | 20 |
| I believe you can also get schedule information through Livewire
(VTX).
There is daily service between Hanscom and BTO (Burlington, VT).
There is a round trip in the morning and also late afternoon. Planes
used are 6-8 passenger Beechraft as well as 9 passenger Jetwing.
It's only a 45 minute flight, but I recommend NOT drinking too much
coffee beforehand! One of the seats does convert to a toilet, but
I've never seen anyone use it.
Definitely easier than fighting traffic out of Logan!
There is also service to and from Kanata which is less frequent.
Again, specific days and times are available on line.
With the limited number of seats, they fill up early.
