is a PBU? Perhaps people know them by other names. That is
not uncommon in this company. You might also explain why you
need this information so you can be targeted closer to your
needs.

Yes, I did look at the "Internal guide to Digital Operations", it
is indeed full of useful information regarding groups within
Digital. What I really would like to find out, may be it is
hidden in the guide, is the different Product Business Units (PBU)
within Digital. Here is what I am looking for:
> What is the definition of a PBU ?
> What are the different PBU's within Digital ?
> A brief write up of each individual PBU.
I am currently putting together some stuff related to PBU's for
my group and thought this might be a good place to get some
information. Please advise me if I should be also posting this note
in any other conference. Any pointers related to this will be
much appreciated.

| I don't know that this is online anywhere.
Why not send your request to George Chamberlain, the finance VP for
engineering, who is the top level sponsor for the PBU process.
He is at PTO::CHAMBERLAIN.

| OK... This is what I have found out.
Marcia Slarskey (TELLME::SLARSKEY, International Product Office)
can be contacted for information regarding PBU responsibility
directory. The directory is updated once a month, I believe. It
contains all the names of the Product Business Units (PBU's) along
with key contacts in various departments like business, marketing
etc.
I would like to thank the folks who have shown interest in this
and have promptly got back to me with info.
