467.2 | Can't get there from here | ARNOLD::ROTH | It won't be long now... | Tue Feb 16 1988 16:25 | 6 |
| OK, clue me in... what are you guys accessing the P&P database from...
Corporate Videotex page? USVL (US VTX Library) page?
How about a keyword if you have one?
(Lee, who is using USVL main page and it isn't obvious how to access it)

467.3 | You can stop looking - not there yet | WELKIN::ADOERFER | | Tue Feb 16 1988 19:28 | 4 |
| While many groups have policies, procedures, guidelines, standards
and most anything else, the P&P infobase is in development/pilot
stage and not on the Corporate or US VTX Libraries.

467.5 | And quite useful, too | DENTON::AMARTIN | Alan H. Martin | Wed Feb 17 1988 10:40 | 9 |
| Re .2:
I access the PP&P manual from the main menu page of the Spit Brook site's VTX
server on UCOUNT::. I posted the message about this in this conference a while
ago, but I don't have the time to find it right now. It probably contains
caveats about the service being a joint experiment between the ZK and SHR
personnel departments, etc.. The database has been updated with new policies
since I've started using it, so they must still be investing in it.

467.6 | "VTX ORANGEBOOK" | DR::BLINN | Opus for VEEP in '88 | Wed Aug 03 1988 12:26 | 7 |
| The U.S. Personnel Policies and Procedures manual is now available
as the "ORANGEBOOK" infobase from the Corporate VTX library. If
VTX is installed correctly on your system, you should be able to
access it directly (bypassing menus) by entering the DCL command
"VTX ORANGEBOOK".
