465.0. "WANTED: DEC Memorobelia" by FGVAXZ::LAING (Pipe Dreamer * Jim Laing * 261-2194) Fri Feb 12 1988 10:41
I'm looking for items of DEC memorobelia/paraphernalia ... either
sources of such stuff (where can I buy it?) or anyone willing to
give away (!) or sell me such stuff ...
Contact Jim Laing at DTN 261-2194, or MAIL to FGVAXZ::LAING.
What I'm looking for are things that are promotional in nature,
awards, etc. with the DIGITAL logo. Some things I've seen and WANT
are ... credit-card-sized things with VAX chip(s) in them, lucite
(or is it Plexiglas) paperweights, again with chips or other
'interesting' things inside them, miniature VAXs (models), any other
unusual stuff that might be given out at conventions, by salespeople,
etc. I'm even willing to pay for this stuff ... I'd like to get
a collection of these sorts of things going!
Thanks,
Jim

465.1 | DECUS is a good place to try | LA780::WALLIS_BA | Barry Wallis @IVO | Fri Feb 19 1988 13:57 | 20 |

DECUS is an excellent source for DEC and DEC related memorobilia. Now
that the DECUS Store is open whenever registration is open you can make
purchases on Saturday or Sunday (to beat the rush) and not even have to
be registered.

I have a tie tack with a VAX-8600 chip on it. I can't remember
whether I still have any extras (I buy them at DECUS and use them
as gifts throughout the year). If I do, would you be interested?
