RE: .1 I sent mail to the person who wrote the base note. His
reply was that they were in the middle of a hardware upgrade
and the conference is temporarily unavailable. It should be back
tomorrow.
I highly recommend using mail as a faster, more efficient way to
track down these types of problems.
