| No, please don't. You might ask it in UCOUNT::MASSACHUSETTS, or
just call up HLO Facilities and ask THEM! Sometimes the net isn't
the best place to get information.

| No secret really. We are adding yet another 'wing' to the back of
HLO1 which will be a new, very clean semiconductor fabrication
facility. The crane is being used to lower girders into place. I
believe that closing the back 'thru' road was at least partially
related to needing more area for tanks and such to service this new
facility.
Have to keep those MicroVAXes, CVAXes, etc., coming!

| Thanks for the answer. Apparently the long boom of the crane
is needed to reach to the "back" of the building. The crane is
tall enough to warrant its own set of warning lights at night.

| I don't know if they have used it for much.
I think it's just a weather vane :-)

394.6 | Cohabiting with large crane ? | SALSA::MOELLER | It's my turn to be uncool! | Mon Oct 05 1987 13:18 | 4 |
| .. be very quiet, try not to frighten it.. cranes can't reproduce
under stress .. as a result the large cranes are quite rare.
