Travelling to France next week. Need to find cheap car hire. Any
info.
Something like Ford Escort. (Can realistically squeeze 5 people
in). for 1St Sept Calais to 9th Sept PAris Airport. 3 cars for
Australian teams.
Any help appreciated, but must be urgent.
Don't bother after August 11th.

AVIS will give you 35% discount on production of your Digital
ID badge - it helps if you can give them a reference number which
they look up in their book, to save time and hassle, as when I
did this in Milan Airport next week, there were about 30+ different
Digitals (but they were all part of Digital....)
Check with your local travel department or secretaty who arranges
your travel; they should be able to provide this data instantly.
Sorry, can't tell you what the price would be, but you should
be able to ring your local AVIS depot and get the French prices
from them.
BTW they also rent mini-buses - might be better than three cars...
Reply here if you need the UK AVIS numbers, and I'll dig 'em
out for you.

Please DON'T put ads in this conference. There is a conference
that is set up just for that purpose. You can find it at
USSCLS::ASKENET. I had thought that Classified Ads might be a good
place for this, but was informed by its moderator that they don't
take commercials or general information inquiries.
