Recently I read a note in some conference regarding someone from Dean Witter who apparently had access to a Digital Telephone Directory. Does anyone know where that note is hiding? Thanks. - Jerry

Two or three years ago I received a solicitation from Dean Witter offering to improve my investment potential if I had more than 100 shares of DEC stock. The letter was mailed directly to my office in the Mill and the mailstop was absolutely correct - highly unusual as most mailing lists don't seem to be able to handle MLO 3-3/E67. The address was handwritten as well. I called Investor Services and then spoke with Personel and Security. I stated to them that I felt Dean Witter had a DEC phonebook and let's hope its not a copy of the Personnel Master File. Does anyone really know what information they have? Greg | |||||

2 or 3 yrs ago, Here in Hudson, a broker from Dean Witter on Worcester (I'd remember his name if I heard it) sent the same type of solicitation - suggesting investment in DEC options - to about everyone in our cost center. Again, each envelope had name and mailstop. Sounds like he had a big list. |
