Subject: Security Advisory
During the past forty-eight hours an individual claiming to be "TODD
MORRIS", alleging he is with "DISCO," "DOD," "Defense Investigative Service,"
"Department of Defense," or the "U.S. Government," has made repeated
telephonic attempts to obtain names of employees working at DEC
locations and/or on DEC projects.
Department of Defense had no records pertaining to a Todd Morris!
"Morris" used a similar approach to another local industry, attempting
to identify individuals working on classified U.S. Government issues.
"Morris" has telephoned all levels of the Corporation and can be very
persistent. He is now the subject of a Federal investigation.
SIMILAR TO OTHER SUCH UNKNOWN OR SUSPICIOUS APPROACHES, FUTURE CALLS
BY "MORRIS" SHOULD BE REFERRED TO CORPORATE SECURITY.
I ask that this information be further cascaded throughout your
respective organizations and/or be a matter of comment at your next
staff meeting.
