| I am interested in hearing your reasons for saying that this file is being
censored. Not being a regular reader, I am not familiar with what is going
on in this file. Are you saying that notes have been removed from here?
Are you saying that someone is telling people not to say certain things?
If it is the lack of participation, there could be reasons other than
censorship. Decreasing interest is certainly a good possibility. There
could be various reasons for the lack of interest, not all of which are
necessarily bad.
Please don't misunderstand. I'm not saying that you shouldn't say what
you said. I just don't understand WHY you said it.

| My note, was referring to the subtitle of this notes-file, wich says exactely
the same.
In fact it is true. At the beginning there was a big rush in this file, and
a lot of people flamed out and explained themselfs. Right now, it seems that
only you and me are reading this...(It looks as if the file, right next to
this one, is more interesting...)

| For what it's worth -
My reason for not participating, during the past couple of weeks, is that
the ``across the pond'' connection has been dreadful lately. As much as I
enjoy participating in these discussions, I can't afford to wait a minute
for each note and reply.
Perhaps something got lost in a translation. Censured means to punish; censor
means to inhibit free expression. In either case it's bad. Of course, in most
NotesFiles, people perform self-censorship, meaning that they are careful about
what they write in public. In the case of people having trouble with their
bosses, etc. I'd expect that there's a good bit of that. No sense in making
matters worse by saying things that you'd later regret.
At any rate, I do look forward to participating in this file, but I generally
have to wait until the weekends to do so.

| My resons for not participating are simple: I do not find that it is very
constructive to make comments into a vacuum, which, unfortunatly, this
file is, in reality. I prefer to talk constructively to my manager.
sorry 'bout that

| There are two reasons that I have not said much in this file for a while.
1) Time! I am going flat out these days and have very little time even for
the files that are DIRECTLY related to my job.
2) I have adopted the attitude that when I have nothing to say I will not
say anything. I have not had anything to say lately.

| Re .4:
Andy,
You must understand, that there are people, who *cannot* have a constructive
talks to their managers. These kinf od people (I am part of it) need help
form people like you, to reach what they need.
The fact that you can constructively talk to your manager, does not mean,
that I can also do so to mine.

| I didn't write anymore in this file since today because I have been asked
to do so.

| Regarding the subject of "Censorship..." After reading 27.26 and
then 27.41 (now this may be all in my mind) I get a feeling that
the later comment ie 27.41 may have been invoked by "corrective
comments" by someone other than the author of the note.
Now I am not criticising just letting an active mind run wild.
If anyone else feels the same or not then please add your comments
yours curious
Alan.
