Hi, (if there is still someone out there... :-( ) a customer (for the conaisseurs : "Cockeril") is looking for a tool to do constraint programming, to solve a 'sequencing' problem. The tool should -run on openVMS/AXP -have a GUI for development (Motif)(if possible) -have a GUI for end-user interface -contain a compiler for speed Tools they were thinking of are : CHIP from COSYTEC CHARME from BULL PECOS from ILOG Does anyone have additional information on these tools, or any other possible tool to use (is there a PROLOGIII compiler?) (is OPS5++ a good candidate?) Thanks for any input/pointer Luc

Hi Pete, Still alive and listening. ILOG Solver (PECOS new name) runs on ALPHA AXP, both OpenVMS and OSF, has a MOTIF interface and can Generate compiled code for Le_Lips, C++ or C. Cheers, -- Stphane -- |
