Subj:	Re: Neuron Data.
Joe,
I should have realized that the difficulties in the relationship between Digital
and Neuron Data would have reach far and wide. We have resolved those
difficulties in an amicable way. Both Neuron Data and Digital have looked at the
distribution agreement and realize that it is no longer the appropriate form for
our relationship since Neuron has a sales force in the US and a very strong
network of distributors worldwide.
The AITC will continue our marketing, consulting, and training relationship
with Neuron as we both see that relationship as mutually beneficial. The issues
that have at times strained our relationship have had their basis in accounting
for inventory, payment of royalty and unauthorized distribution to customers
without invoicing, all matters associtated with distribution.
It is certainly appropriate for Digital people to attend the Neuron Data users
group meeting and I would encourage you to take that opportunity to see the new
features coming in Nexpert Object and also to see Open Interface which is doing
very well in the States. Over a dozen people from Digital attended their User's
Group in Boston and found it very educational.
Nexpert is also the basis of several solutions that the AITC has been very
successful with. At AAAI we announced several new training courses that include
both Nexpert and KBMS. We are using these offerings to penetrate new accounts.
We are also in the midst of a Fraud Management campaign. This solution to what
has proven to be a very hot issue for our customers has Nexpert as it's basis.
The message that I want to leave with you is, we are continueing to pursue
business with Neuron Data as our partner.
Regards,
