AEROPLAN is a PC based ES, written in OPS83 by FIDES Informatique of
Switzerland, used to plan the supply to the Geneva airport. Takes into account
six different suppliers, quality restrictions, limited storage facilities, etc.
Claim is that it can be applied "to other industrial fields, where an optimal
planning of product distribution and storage would prove profitable in terms
of time, space, and cost-savings."
