SUBJECT: PAC Approval of DEC OPS5 Program announcement and Rule-Programming
Future Directions Presentation.
I am pleased to announce that today PAC (Pricing and Announcement
Committee) approved the D-KAS proposal to "program" announce DEC
OPS5 V4.0 at the Fall, 1991, DECUS symposium. We were also given
approval to demonstrate the Field Test version of the product at that
event.
Additionally, we proposed, and received approval for, holding a DECUS
session called "Rule Programming Future Directions." At this session
we plan to outline our future plans for OPS5, and for the tools and
methodologies that will be the basis of our future products.
If you or you customers plan to attend DECUS I urge you to attend
these sessions and to visit us on the show floor or in the campground
for a demo of this exciting new release.
