            the last 6 months.  This is an update.

STATUS

I have declared Version 1 of the Product Strategy Presentation done.  Thank you
for your suggestions this spring; I will continue to keep a log of these
suggestions for an update in early fall. 

HOW TO OBTAIN THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS: 


    (1) Postscript file of slides AND script

	$ Copy MILPND::ESO5:[OE_PRESENTATION]NSP_ALL.910605 *

    (2) Postscript file of slides only

	$ Copy MILPND::ESO5:[OE_PRESENTATION]NSP_SLIDES.910605 *

    (3) Set of revisable (DECwrite DOC) slide files

	$ Copy MILPND::ESO5:[OE_PRESENTATION]NSP_COPY.COM *
        ...and then read this file for further instructions

    (4) Text file of script only

	$ Copy MILPND::ESO5:[OE_PRESENTATION]NSP_SCRIPT.910605 *

    (5) Videotape (40 mins) 

	Ordering instructions TBS; the tape is complete, but must be
        formally placed in the AV library.

    (6) 35mm slides

	Order from Media Services in Bedford until 6/30/90; from Impact
        Communications in North Andover thereafter.  Job number is CR644.
        One slide was added late and is shipped at the end of the slide
        set; use the postscript file of slides (above) as a guide to get
        the slide inserted in the correct order.

NOTES AND CAVEATS

Please feel free to copy or order materials as needed.  Be reminded that
the presentation was created for engineering, and it reflects that bias. 

The presentation was designed to be a strategy overview; it takes about
1.5 hours to present it thoroughly, although an abridged version can
generally be done in 40-45 minutes.  Because it takes that long just to
cover the main areas, it does not go into technical detail.  The intention 
is that one or more in-depth presentations would follow this one, providing
the next level down.

Slides are not intended for external use; if used outside of Digital, 
please take the appropriate precautions. 

Slides can be easily revised for specific purposes (a particular client,
for translation, and so forth).  Accuracy is your job.

organization, and node to Doris McGarry at MILPND::MCGARRY.  She keeps the
mailing list for those interested in updates.
