CORPORATE AI FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
The AI Fellowship Program is a strategic offering designed to share
Digital's extensive experience in Knowledge Based Technology with selected
customers.
This program is used by Account Teams to develop profitable business
partnerships with strategic and targeted accounts, using artificial
intelligence as a gateway into the account.
Fellowships are awarded to individuals working for selected accounts who
will become leaders in applying this technology to meet specific business
goals within their own organizations. The Program is a combination of
formal classroom training followed by an apprenticeship period. During the
apprenticeship, the Fellows work on one of their company's real business
problems under guidance from a senior Digital Knowledge Engineer.
The Program started in the U.S. in 1987 under the leadership of the
Corporate AI group. Customers from all areas have participated including
thirteen major accounts from Europe.
The Program is funded entirely at the Digital Corporate level. There is no
charge to the customer for the Program. The customer does, however, pay
the travel and living expenses associated with participation in the
Program.
Based on the success of the original program, Jack Smith has recently
expanded the scope and funding for the program on a world-wide basis.
As a result, the first European implementation of the AI Fellowship Program
will begin in January 1991 in Sophia Antipolis, France.
For further information and enrollment processes please contact
Malcolm REID - EUROPEAN AI FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM MANAGER @VBE OR 828-6261
Please, make sure we take advantage of this exciting opportunity.
Best regards.
