     Subject: Availability of TIN Phase 0 Documents

     TIN is an evolution of VAX OPS5, Digital's implementation of the OPS5
     rule-based programming language.

     Although TIN is currently funded as an internal project, the TIN
     Development Team is following the corporate phase review process as
     appropriate, to ensure the delivery of a quality product, provide a
     framework for external review, and facilitate future productization.

     The following documents are available for your review in directory
     GUESS::TIN$PUBLIC:[PHASE0] in PostScript format:

       TIN_FUNC_SPEC.PS TIN Language Preliminary Functional Specification
       TIN_PROD_REQ.PS   TIN Product Requirements Document

     The TIN team welcomes your comments and feedback, before May 1st,
     1990. Please respond by posting a note in the GUESS::TIN conference.

     If you have difficulties accessing either the documents or the TIN
     conference, if you wish to receive a hardcopy version of the
     documents, or if you wish to have your name added to (or removed from)
     the distribution list, please send mail to Joyce Isen at GUESS::ISEN
     or to me.

     Please feel free to forward this announcement to anyone within Digital
     who you feel might be interested.
