    I have discovered today that CPROLOG is not and HAS NEVER BEEN in
    the public domain. Digital in the US and Europe  does not have a
    license for this software (Digital Japan does!) 
    
    
    Anyone out there remember how the current situation in Digital arose
    (see note 2.0 in the AITG::PROLOG notes file)
