we've a big target customer Unisys-dependent interested to get
information on application ROUTINELY used for networks management.
The company is "Societa Autostrade" and has practically in charge
the largest part of the Italian highways. So, under the term "networks
management", they mean networks of ..... cables carrying bytes of
their computers but also networks of ...... roads carrying vehicles.
OPPORTUNITIES
Customer is really interesting and if we'll be able to convince
him in triggering a project of a commercial application, good
possibilities of business (also indirectly leveraged from AI) are
expected. They've already developed an experience on a TI Explorer
+ KEE.
We expect to invite the customer to the Valbonne Center if what
they require does exist.

Just ideas of applications coming up in my mind:
THOMSON: during the Ai fellowship THOMSON has developped an E.S.
for security management over a network of computers using Nexpert.
First it was geared to VAX VMS machines, then extended to Ultrix ones
and I think they ate extending it to other machines. I guess we could
show the demo version presented during the graduation of the AI
fellowship. For that the best is to talk to Henri Mercier
XSAFE: see the notes 142.2
NDA: Network diagnostic assistant: when a transmission failed, like
for instance a file transfert, the system help to diagnose the problem
