Hi Holks,
Perhaps this is going to be one of the mysteries of life. Last
night when I passed a call to Basingstoke (via hardcopy), I was
told to send it to leatherhead. After sending it to leatherhead
I was told to send it to CCD. (And all at 11:30)(Talk about sloping
shoulders)
Now I know about all the call logging changes with Basingstoke
,leatherhead and Bristol, but why after 19:00 are we (RDC) sent
bouncing around the country with nobody accepting responsibility
for the call.(Please don't mention whose in charge of sites etc).
I think it is very messy and extremely time wasting for a call
numbered Rxxxxx7GC should have to go to Leatherhead (7C7).
I propose that something should be done about it (before my
nerves give out).
A) If a call is numbered for a specific area (EG, 7GC)
then that cost center (Basingstoke) accepts the call, and then decides
if the call is a site or not and deal with as such.
B) Could the database be updated so that after a certain
time (EG,19:00) the CC number would change. (IE, from 7GC to 7C7).
As far as I can see, both these suggestions would save us (RDC)
alot of time and allow us to deal with the customers/engineers.
Please enter any feelings you may have on this subject or any
other suggestions.
