Hi chaps,
I'm trying to get a job profile to-gether for a Local Area
    Vaxcluster specialist.
The main reason for this entry is to find
out what courses would be needed - starting with something like
INTRO TO DCL (I really MUST try and get that myself),and ending
with something like CLUSTER MANAGEMENT - the question is .......
what's in the middle? what's available? what's relevant?

Thanks in advance for all the replies,
                                                                 Paul

    Paul,

I think you will find that LAVCs are covered under the general
"CLUSTERS" umbrella and as such would be part of TCD.

A word with M.C. might help.

| What if a comms person wanted to take responsibility for the LAVC's
that keep getting bounced to them, but didn't want to become a cluster
    specialist as well?
That's the main reason for asking - I need to
know what courses (in addition to comms courses) would be required

| Well thanks everyone for all the help, there are too many to mention
individually, well ok then - cheers Brian.
