We have a system running v3.2g with a system disk which has 2 free
partitions. This will allow us to encap the disk. After the encap
we see our root on rz9g and LSMpriv on rz9h, but if we do a
voldg list rootdg there is not a copy of rootdg listed here. We have
the copy that was add when we did our volsetup rz11h but nothing for
rz9h. We then did a voldctl add disk rz9 and it got added to the
volboot file and when we do a voldctl list we see it. voldg list
rootdg still does not show a copy of this newly added disk.
My question is how can we get this LSMpriv partition to have a valid
copy of rootdg.

See my answer in the previous note 767. Same problem.
Note for engineering: Do you realize the number of engineers/customers
falling in this bug. Since V3.2D, mirroring the system disk is became
the job of LSM experts. When will you release a patch for that problem?
Manu.
