Hi, Yesterday I had a strange LSM problem. We tested LSM (UNIX v3.2g) on a 8400 with two HSZ50 controllers. All LSM volumes are mirrored across the HSZ50's. We did a shutdown, then we turned off the power on one of the HSZ50. Then UNIX was booted and everything worked as expected ! After that, we did a shutdown. And the HSZ50 was powered on again. We booted UNIX and it started to resync the volumes - BUT IT USED THE WRONG MIRROR COPY for all volumes except for the root volume. Is there any explanation for this situation ??? Regards and thanks, Karsten Elgaard MCS-Denmark

Can you post the output of 'volprint -ht' during the resync? Can you post the output of 'voldg list rootdg' too? Thanks. [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] | |||||

We discovered the problem in "dxlsm" - The wrong plexes was "unfocused". Then we confirmed our observation with a "volprint -Aht" - The right plexes was "WO", during the resync. Sorry - We do not have any output from the commands. Regards, Karsten Elgaard |
