    Yes, we are aware of the disadvantages of only mirroring stripe sets.
    This was discussed along with many other aspects of the product before
    we decided on porting it.  We feel that even with this disadvantage,
    LSM is still a superior product.
    
    We are looking into possibily implementing striping of mirror sets.
