Dear All,
This may not a problem, but, one of our customer need to know the
answer for the following questions:
1. Can we change read policy (round, select or prefer) while the volume is in
use (online)?
2. Why there are differences (in size) between volume size (that we get from
# volprint -htA) and the size of the volume after mounted (that we get from
# df) ? Meanwhile some other volume has no differences (as you see in the
following attachment, there are no size differences between rootvol and /
file system; but there are any size differences among others volume).
We need to know whether these "problem" caused by the wrong
initialization of the LSM, or this is caused by the disk problem.
So far, the system is working properly.

Anybody there?
Regarding to my question on .0, I have another question after I look
at the output of (# volprint -htA) command.
The question is:
Why some plexes (rootvol-01; rootvol-02 & vol-rz0g-02) consist of two
subdisks (rz0a-01p & rz0a-01; rz1a-01p & rz1a-01; disk2-01p & disk2-01
respectively), while the other plexes are not. I myself didn't configure these
plexes & subdisks manually (I'm using the volassist command); so I'm sure this
is not my fault :)
Can somebody explain this reason please?

Yes, the command "volume rdpol .." can be done online. See the volume(8)
man page for more details.

The LSM volume sizes properly match the disklabel partition size. As to why
the filesystem doesn't use all the volume/partition blocks, maybe someone in
the AdvFS filesystem notes file could better answer this question.

The subdisks with the "p" appended are phantom subdisks. These are special
subdisks setup at the beginning of the root volume to prevent the disklabel
and loader info from being destroyed during mirror resynchronization.
