    i have an problem with an A1000 4/266 (PB72A) AY55126702
    
    Configuration
    
    TLZ07 RZ26L RRD45
    
    KZPSC-XA D01
    5 *RZ26L-VW Rev 442e A01
    
    DE435    A03
    
    5 * 32 MB 50-21270-01
    5 * 16 MB 50-23169-01

    We have swapped everything several times during the last half year.
    The crash comes intermittend with an increasing rate over the last
    day.
    
    The problem i found ,without the left cover the machine is ok.
    With the left side cover the machine crashes within 2 hours.
    I checked it about 10 times so that i can say we have an airflow
    problem.
    
    Yesterday i make a litle modification ,i mounted the little fan inside
    the pci/isa box without a distance rubber and the machine is running
    without problems.
    
    Who has similar problems ?
    
    Is it possible that we have a general air flow problem ?

    We have no airflows problems that we know about.
    
    What is the temp in the room that the AS is in?
    
    Is the back of the box against a wall? Under a desk?

    Hallo Don,
    
    the Alpha stands on the floor in a computer room.The temperature is
    normal.The environment is ok.
    
    I reproduce these errors with the customer machine in our office.
    We had in our office the same crashes,roundabout 20 times a day.
    
    The machines produce problems over a half year,first we thought that
    we have memory problems.We swaped everything several times,we also 
    had swaped 3 times a RZ26w-va because they was faulty in raid 5 set.
    
    Now with changing the airflow the Alpha works fine since 10 days.
