    Hi,
    
    Our customer has three Digital 1000 4/233 Alpha systems, running NT
    3.51 and Exchange, purchased almost a year ago.  They plan on upgrading
    to NT 4.0 and Exchange 5.0.  They've contracted with us to assist in
    this effort, mainly because they feel they got burned when doing a
    prior Alpha upgrade, which took several weeks, due to a firmware
    problem.  Note: I was told this was on a 2100.  Anyway...
    
    What versions of the firmware (ECU) should they be running for this?
    (No, I don't what versions their running, yet)
    
    It sounds like, based on previous notes, that I'd have to call
    Colorado to get an updated one (if needed), since I can't pull it off
    the net, correct?
    
    Any other firmware/revision related items I need to check?

	You do not need to upgrade the firmware in order to run NT V4.0 but it is recommended that you use the latest firmware on the machine. The firmware updates are available on the web at http://www.windows.digital.com/support/sysoft.asp Scott
