    I have a call on a AS10004/233 to 5/400 upgrade.
    Before the upgrade the customer loaded AXP VMS 6.2-1H3.
    
    The system is running consoler code of 4.7-169.  When the
    system is booted it crashes when starting the network.
    The DE435 network card is set to twisted EWA0_MODE twisted.
    
    If the system is booted minimum, it sees DRA0-3, OPA0,
    FTA0, RTA0, RTB0.   It doesn't see the DE435.
    
    If we SYSMAN> IO AUTO/LOG, we don't see the DE435.
    
    What am I missing?

    This is an update on this call.  Someone from the networks
    group found the solution.
    
    At the console prompt and SHOW DEVICE the EWA0 is seen.
    Under VMS SYSMAN> IO AUTOCONFIGURE does not see the device.
    Ran autogen and reboot then the EWA0 device was available.
