Hi 

I have a query on AS 1000A (Pedestal model) :

Can I use a storageworks DAT drive (-VA type) in the
internal storageworks assembly which is configured on  
the integral FWSE controller ? The storage assembly 
will also have some disks inside. 

Alternately, if I use the external tape expansion 
feature of the integral controller, what cable to 
use to connect the external tape drive when the 
internal storage assembly is configured in single-bus 
mode ? (SOC says maxm cable length in this case is 
0.5m but does not mention any corresponding cable 
part no) 
  
(Assume that I am not exceeding the 7 device limitation).
