I have a customer who is trying to connect to an Oracle database with an OCI interface call (olog). He is getting an error (01019) which tells him to increase the process heap size. Can someone tell me how to do this? Is it a compiler option? He is trying to compile using C on OpenVMS 7.0.

I would suggest to see if there is an explanation given in the OpenVMS specific part of the Oracle documentation, for this error code. I suspect that the notion of "process heap size" is a generic one, which then translate to something meaningfull for a given operating system. Jean-Michel | |||||
