Jon Belanger asked my to investigate whether IBM as published(hardcopy-wise)
the APPC Peer Protocols manual(SC31-6808-2). 

What I have found is this:

1) IBM has producted a newer version of the manual(SC31-6808-3) which is the -2
   manuals merged with the new Chapter 13(FDX). The resulting manual can _only_
   be found on the Networking Softcopy Collection(SK2T-6012) CD-ROM. This CD ROM
   is available from IBM Direct at 1-800-879-2755(fax 1-800-445-9269) or
   e-mail [email protected].

2) This softcopy can only be read with IBM's Library Reader. The Networking 
   Softcopy CD ROM has an installation kit to install the IBM Library Reader on 
   OS/2, Windows 3.1, Windows NT, and Windows 95. Library Reader on the 
   Microsoft operating systems is a _16 bit_ application only.

3) The Networking Softcopy Collection(SK2T-6012) CD-ROM is available in a
   subscription(usually $275/year but someone needs to check the price) and
   I would recommend ordering the subscription rather than the single
   copy.

4) The Networking Softcopy Collection(SK2T-6012) CD-ROM is available from 
   IBM Direct at 1-800-879-2755(fax 1-800-445-9269) or send e-mail to
   [email protected].

5) In addition to Networking Softcopy Collection CD-ROM, I would order the
   Networking Redbooks Softcopy(SK2T-6022), which has some very well written
   manuals on it.
