Question from a customer: can one prevent a PC that has Forte Distributed installed from accessing any specific repository environment? It seems that by switching the repository name it can access any environment on the CentralServer:5000 socket. Theo

Much would depend on the platform of the central server and the
permissions/file protection of the Central Repository.
You can establish passwords for these Repositories and use them as a
security feature.
I will send u a Technote on this..for it is rather involved.
