Yesterday I received the TIMA stars cd's (set of 5 mar 97). It contains
the NOTEs as well as the normal stars cd's.
I used to invoke the tima tools articles about database list, to get an
updated list of the master and gerbil_master.databases.
(this is recommended - see tima gram of rob saunders - dd 18 mar :
march '97 cd announcement - tima stats)
However I found the list still on my system were normally they're
deleted by a generic task before the cd's are send around.
So I deleted them manually and invoked (and requested) the two
articles. When I received the database list, it appears (as to be
expected) again the old db list.
Abstract from the header:
The notes db list:

The option 4 of notes db list (stars V2.6 readonly access from CD) does
simply say entry 4 not available... And this is the entry I need.
So what's next ? How do I continue ?

Rob Saunders of TIMA Hub Operations has resolved this problem by moving
over current database list files -- both Master production db and notes
lists. This should also be taken care of in the future.
Eric, please send mail to the following people confirming that you are
able to get the updated lists from TIMA TOOLS:

USTIMA::R_SAUNDERS
If there are still problems, please log a call to:

Only today (12 may) this note becomes visual for me. The problem with the missing entry was solved. The date of the files however still not. I suspect the files have not been regenerated but just copied around. Eric | |||||
