FTSO 1.4 beta version is available now at location ISERE::FTSO$PUBLIC:.
New functionnalities:
--------------------
o Proxy Communications: allows you to transfer files without knowing passwords. FTSO on remote side
checks if you are authorized to do it.
o Firewall Proxy server: allows FTSO file's transfers to pass throught a firewall. FTSO proxy server
installed onto the firewall checks permissions to access the destination host.

Hi Russell I tried to access and copy the new kit from isere::ftso$public and there was no problem. Maybe you could not copy it because of a temporary network failure ? Could you try again and tell us if the problem still exists. Concerning the SPD for the new version, it is not available yet. Thanks Christophe THIVEL | |||||
