There is one system running VMS V5.5-2!
Will TNT server work if we take care that all queueing
will be handled by the V6.2 systems?
Regards
Hermann

Having never official tested all configurations, my best evaluation is that if you have a cluster with a VAX V5.5-2 system and no print queues are configured for that system, then the TNT servers on the V6.2 nodes should run without issue. If the queue manager ever decide to route a request to the V5.5-2 system, all bets are off. When I have a few free minutes (hours), I will inquire to the queuing code maintainers to the exact behavior of their request routing. | |||||
