You are right they are using V1.4-1. BUT they have the same troubles.
Exactly and more when they trying from graphical interface :
counters on HDCL link xxx log station yyyy then they got the error message:
~ Presentation name for attribut or value is not in dictionary.
From MCC command line it's works OK.

| Hi!
Yesterday I checked the problem with counters. I found next phenomena:
1) from NCL
ncl>show node x hdlc link y log station z all count
I got in last 2 lines
line data octets sent
line data octets received
2) from MCC command line
mcc> show node x hdlc link y log station z all count
I got last 2 lines
...attribute #31 = ...
...attribute #32 = ...
3) from MCC graphical interface
I got error message ~attribute presentation name not in dictionary...
How to get into mcc dictionary these attributes?
I have not found FIX which will be contain solution for this problem.
May be that DECmcc software was installed prior to DECnis and DECnis
installation does not update DECmcc dictionary?
