Hello DECmcc user, Does any body know of an off the shelf product running under OpenVms or Unix which allows you to propagate an fired alarm to a mobile phone or bipper ? It would be something like an automatic procedure launched when an alarm fires in order to warn somebody with a mobile using the protocol TAP for instance... Thanks for any ideas. Jean-Pierre RUBIO

Hi Jean-Pierrre,
Sorry I did not see this earlier... I think I've heard of DECmcc users
getting this to work using DECalert or DECevent products. The MCC
alarm passes to one of these applications and pages the user. I
believe these are for VMS but not sure on Unix...
