6438.1 | Should work but not really sure ! | DSVB03::TABONE | | Tue Apr 09 1996 15:01 | 9 |
| Hi Mic,
Take care, DECmcc is not supported on VAX/OpenVMS 7.0.
But, I think the patches you tested for VAX/VMS V6.2 should work
also for V7.0. You can try them if you want.
Don't be too anxious you are used to this kind of problems, isn't it ?
Best regards,

| Phillipe,
Hello old friend! I've upgraded to OpenVMS V7.0 and for once... drum
roll please....tah-dah, MCC has gone unscathed... The only problem I
had was with OpenVMS, I had to upgrade UCX, but that was trivial.
I'm zooming the display from a VAX4705A to an Alpha/Unix workstation
and running lots of alarms I've written using the IMPM. Most alarms
are either OSI or SNMP entities...
I've pointed a noter your way whose having problems with V1.3 and
OSI...
cheers,
/Mic

| Hi Mic,
I'm glad to see MCC working well on OpenVMS V7.0.
Have you tested the 2 patches or only one ? In the
second case, which one ?
Best regards,

| Phillippe,
The patch I applied is for MCC_KERNEL_SHR.EXE; offhand I've forgotten
what the other patch was? This is the one that helped me with the CMA
libraries problem, I believe...?
Hope this helps...
/Mic
