6433.0. "PGFIPLHI, Pagefault with IPL too high w/MCC V1.4-1" by SALUD::ORTIZ () Mon Mar 04 1996 19:32

    I have a customer that is running MCC V1.4-1 and is doing some MCC
    commands in batch that is causing a crash with MCC_MAIN.EXE as the
    current executable. MCC_MAIN.EXE image id is 1.4-1. Has anyone seen
    this problem with 1.4-1? Is this really an MCC problem? Any help
    would be appreciated..

    Richard

Hi Richard,

This command seems to be correct.
Could you verify the mcc account quotas and the VMS
version ?
Does the customer get the crash immediatly or after
several hours ?

6433.2More information...SALUD::ORTIZWed Mar 06 1996 00:4349
    Hi Philippe,

    The customer is running VMS V6.1. I asked the questions to him and
    he e-mailed me the following information:

Hi Richard,
Below are the account quotas for the user running MCC_MAIN in batch.
I ran MCC_AUDIT which said this account's prclim needed to be raised to >=10.
(it was 5. I made it 12).
The last time the system crashed with the same error (PGFIPLHI) was on 2/18.
I'm not sure how long the batch job has been running when the system crashes.
There are several batch jobs running concurrently (using MCC_MAIN) when
the crash happens.
I would be happy to send the dump file to you or you can dial in (either
via DSNLink or modem) to look at it if that will expedite a resolution.
Thanks

6433.3Quotas insufisant !DSVB03::TABONEWed Mar 06 1996 09:0117
Hi Richard,

Some quotas have not the right value :

Prclm:       5   -> 20
Fillm:       150 -> 400

I am not a VMS export, but I suggest you to
increase also (I often see this value in customer
systems) :
Pgflquo:     100000 -> 200000

Hope this helps you.
