Does the file SYS$MANAGER:net$ncp_mop_clients.com have anything to do with DECmcc? I have got a set of these created by something and I am trying to track it down. Thanks, Jeff

Jeff, >>Does the file SYS$MANAGER:net$ncp_mop_clients.com have anything to do >>with DECmcc? You've got a product starting up during your system reboot that is calling the NCP emulator with DEFINE NODE commands. The emulator takes the commands and creates an NCL equivalent in the file NET$NCP_MOP_CLIENTS.COM. For more information on the NCP emulator, look at the file: SYS$COMMON:[SYSUPD]NCP_EMULATOR.TXT -Erik PS: Info extracted from the DECNET-OSI_FOR_VMS conference Notes |
